CHARLOTTE, NC, December 14, 2010 – Collett & Associates, headquartered in Charlotte, has been named the court-appointed receiver for Cannon Plaza, a neighborhood shopping center located in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The 67,200 square feet (SF) center is anchored by Dollar General and includes a ±42,000 SF anchor space, recently vacated by Big Lots. Jim Gamble and Stephen Pharr will market the anchor space and four small shop vacancies for lease. Becky Miller will manage the property.
This is the 17th receivership assignment Collett & Associates has handled on behalf of various institutional lenders since 2004. Other current lender assignments include: Westover Business Center in Hickory, NC; Meadow Greens in Eden, NC Scotland Crossing in Laurinburg, NC; Bradford Village in Santee, SC; Market Square in Spartanburg, SC; and Greenwood Marketplace in Greenwood, SC.
