Charles E. Ellis, Jr., CCIM, managing partner of Collett & Associates in Charlotte, was awarded the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member by the CCIM Institute on April 25, 2012, during the spring business meetings in Kansas City, MO.

Following his passing of the institute's comprehensive examination, Ellis was among the 141 commercial real estate professionals to earn the title. The CCIM designation is awarded upon successful completion of an advanced analytical curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying experience within the industry.
