ICSC Certifies 40 Shopping Center Management Professionals
ICSC is pleased to announce 40 retail real estate professionals have joined the 2012 class of certified professionals by earning the prestigious Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation. The CSM credential is designed to raise professional standards in the field of shopping center management, giving special recognition to those who demonstrate the highest level of competency in their specialty through professional experience, expertise and rigorous examination. Since its launch in 1964, more than 3000 retail real estate professionals have earned the CSM designation.
“The new recipients of the CSM designation join a group of industry professionals who set the standards for their peers to follow. These recipients perform at the top of their field and operating the most efficient shopping centers around the world,” said Michael Kercheval, ICSC’s president and CEO. “The shopping center industry is constantly changing and these industry professionals have shown that they are up to the challenge.”
